The Japanese version of the game was unreleased and was rediscovered as part of the September 2020 lotcheck leak. It's also likely that it would've been used on a Japanese release, as other Flintstones games from Taito released there had that line about Nippon Columbia on their copyright notices. In the opening story of the game, the Water Buffalos' leader decides to retire. The story of the game is generally based on the 1960s The Flintstones cartoon series. Icons for various items such as hearts and pickups (Dino, Gazoo) exist as selected and unselected as well. Game Information: The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock is a side scrolling action video game by Taito for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This looks to be a remnant of a map viewer, if not editor. Present at 0xF8BC in the US v1.0 ROM is a peculiar tileset depicting various arrows, slopes, cursors, icons, flagpoles, etc.
